Job description

Mechanical Fitter

You must be work to workshop standards including Health and Safety.
Ideally you will have good mechanical, Electrical and Pneumatic skills
You will be required to build and test complex packaging machines.

This will include; electro-mechanical assembly, bolted structural assembly, Rotational bearings, Drive mechanisms, Drive shafts, linkages, motors, Pneumatics.

Ideally you will have an Engineering Apprenticeship plus several years relevant practical experience.
Qualifications in City and Guilds, NVQ or HNC would be advantageous.

Skills;

You must have a minimum 3 years industry experience.
You could have worked in Machine Assembly, Fitter or a Service Engineer.
You will have good communication skills
The ability to work on your own initiative

37 hours per week + Overtime.
Site based.
