Job description
Our Client are seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Machine Service / Technician to join their team.
As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, and servicing injection moulding machines, robots, and automation equipment. Your experience with both electric and hydraulic machines will be invaluable, as you will be required to replace hydraulic rams, seals, and valves.
In addition to your mechanical skills, you must also have some electrical and electronic experience, including an understanding of three-phase power and electronic board-level fault diagnosis. Experience with any of the following injection moulding machines would be ideal: KraussMaffei, ENGEL, Sumitomo, Arburg, BMB Hegla, Uniloy, Husky, Romi, Boy, or BILLION.
You will be expected to repair and service machines in the UK and Ireland. ( the client expects this engineer to be working in the South of the UK. They have lots of customers in the Essex area .)
You will be responsible for fault finding, discussing solutions with customers, ordering parts, and more.
You must be willing to work away from home during the week and have a valid driver's license.
In return, a competitive basic salary of 39-46K plus overtime, with an OTE of 60K+. You will work eight-hour days with a vehicle provided, and door-to-door travel, weekday overtime rates, and a weekend work bonus. You will also receive a laptop and phone to help you manage your work more efficiently.
