Field Service Engineer - Woodworking Machines - Electrically biassed
You must be willing to work away in the week.
This role is electro-Mechanical. 60% electrical 40% mechanical
You must have good electrical skills, including interrogation and Fault Finding. The ability to read Electrical drawings and circuits. Knowledge of electrical components, relays, contactors, transformers, drives and stepper motors. PLC Programming would be a bonus.
You must have an Electrical Qualification.
You must also have good mechanical skills.( This role is mechanically biased gear, blade, chains, bearings, shafts).
You will be trained on the Service of CNC machines and Machine tools. ( full training will be given)
You will have done a formal apprenticeship. (Ideally a NVQ or City and Guilds or HNC / HND
Qualification].
You will be covering Southern England, North London to the South West.
You will be working on Woodworking equipment such as; CNCs, Edgebander, Saws.
The role
1. To provide in-house and on-site support to customers for the repair and maintenance .
2. To complete installations.
3. To carry out on-site customer training and assist with in-house training when required.
4. To repair or replace sub assembly modules.
5. To carry out on-site and in-house upgrades.
6. Be prepared to travel within the UK and stay away in the week.
You will be employed by an international Machine tool manufacturer.
UK driving license.
