Field Service Engineer - Experience of PLCs and controls

You will be working on PLC controlled Industrial equipment used in high-end manufacturing. The role requires
both Mechanical and Electrical skills. Processes include Surface treatment, Precision cleaning and Ultrasonic Cleaning.

These processes often PLC controlled via 24 V Control Panel , ( PLC HMI skills advantageous)

Ideally you will be located in the South East, near the M3, M4 or M40 motorways.

Skills and Background;

ideally you will have worked on PLC controlled machines such as; Machine tools, Packaging or any industrial automation.

You must have experience as a Service Engineer, ( 3 years minimum ).
You must have the ability to read Electrical diagrams and fault find.

Mechanical fault finding and repair. Filters, Hoses, motors and seals. (pneumatics an advantage.)
Preferable is an Electrical Qualification , City and Guilds, 18th Edition or HNC / HND / or ONC.
An understanding of Single and three phase electrical systems.

You must be willing to work away in the week ( On average 5-10 days a month) and occasionally overseas.
You must be willing to travel extensively in the UK.

You must be physically fit and willing to work in industrial environments.
