You will be Head of Legal IP for a technology company.
You will be covering commercial contract, IP and regulatory matters.
This will include;
Legal & regulatory affairs
Corporate secretarial activities
Legal & contractual aspects of corporate finance, business development and commercial relationships
Close support work in structuring spin-outs, royalty agreements, transfer pricing and group inter-company arrangements internationally.
Trademarks and design rights
Patents and IP licensing
High-value and cross border commercial contracts
Technically proficient and commercially aware
A practical and proactive approach to solving problems.
Implementing a Group-wide IP strategy
Working with the companys research & development team and patent attorneys to manage and grow the companys patent portfolio, identifying new elements of IP for protection and handling the global management of the existing IP.
To act as the centre for the companys legal and regulatory activities, interfacing with specialist external counsel where appropriate and becoming the companys centre of excellence in all matters legal, regulatory and commercial contractual.
To understand and navigate the various legal frameworks globally for the provision of grant funding, supporting grant and state funding applications made by the company.
Legal support for any litigation involving the Group.
